Walmart rolls out ‘first-of-its-kind’ change to Christmas shopping – what you need to know

Walmart has announced a“first-of-its-kind” change to shopping ahead of the holiday shopping season. These are among several changes Walmart is making to its operations, including scrapping self-checkout according to expert predictions.
The store is also making big changes to its products and imports in a bid to offer better deals to customers.
Now, Consumers are preparing to spend a lot of their hard-earned cash on presents for loved ones as Christmas fast approaches.
To mark the festivities, Walmart has launched a new shoppable series called “Add to Heart” to help shoppers find the right gifts.
This series takes inspiration from holiday movies and features 23 parts which are around three minutes or less. As part of the unique series, Walmart customers can follow the story of Jessica, a designer from New York.

The character travels to her hometown for the holidays and loses her luggage which results in her visiting Walmart.
While at the retailer, she runs into Javi, someone she previously had a relationship with and they start a new romance.
This series has been referred to as a “RomCommerce” and viewers can watch the show to get inspiration for presents this Christmas.
Among the products that will be highlighted in the show include items of furniture, clothing and holiday decorations from Walmart’s collection.
Parts of the “Add to Heart” series are being shown on TikTok, Roku and YouTube as of December 2.
The rest of the show will drop on Walmart’s YouTube and TikTok channels from today (December 5) and December 8.
William White, the chief marketing officer of Walmart, broke down where the inspiration for the series came from.
He explained: “The holidays are such a special season. We know gifting and curling up to watch a favorite Christmas movie are part of so many families’ traditions.
“So, what better time to launch an innovative, first-of-its-kind shoppable series.
“’Add to Heart’ is a fun, unique way for our customers to be entertained while shopping for the great deals on top brands that they expect from Walmart. We hope they enjoy it and the amazing gifts they order throughout
